Appointment JSON exercise

What these checks mean

Start with the teaching example. Check the baseline, then change one requirement and compare the two results. The six signals look for task, context, output, constraints, evidence and uncertainty wording. Placeholders and possible sensitive-data markers are separate warnings. A missing signal may be intentional; a detected word may appear in data rather than an instruction.

Review the result manually. For the JSON exercise, require date, time and timezone to be strings or null and missing_fields to be an array naming exactly the null fields. Calendar checks are deliberately limited to this contract, not a general JSON Schema validator. A valid object does not prove that its values are supported by the source.

After a structural review, run the actual prompt on representative cases and record model, settings, input and observed output. Use a fixed rubric and include failures. Export contains check results and character counts, not your prompt text.

Keyword-based checks, not an AI evaluation. Matching a cue does not prove quality or correctness. No model is called and your input is not sent to our server. Do not enter confidential information.
